A Thanksgiving To Remember
We spent a wonderful time up at Gardom Lake Bible Camp!
We were able to: hike, have campfire and roast things over the fire, roast turkey, eat big Thanksgiving meal, ride bikes (children mostly), kayak, fish (Jeremy), enjoy each others company, play with the dogs, spend time with the newest family member, enjoy the outdoors, etc.
The only downfall that happened was that Sam spilled boiling hot soup on his stomach and got 2nd degree burns, I rushed him into the shower first, than to the Salmon Arm hospital, he is healing well though.

The Next Day
So its feeling a bit better today, actually the gash itself hurts a bit more than yesterday, and my bones don't hurt as much. It appears I might have hit my other leg or pulled a muscle, because it has been hurting a bit.

Harvest Crusade & Jeremy Camp
While browsing jeremycamp.com I found this video:
In Stitches
This morning we had a great time with friends at City Park, taking photos and enjoying the heat, sunshine, lake, beach, etc. Near the very end we were by the new monuments that have been setup celebrating the old bridge, they are made of steel, and I went to jump up on one of them, I made it, but my shoe was wet so I slid and my left leg caught the corner or a bolt, I'm not sure, I am thinking of heading back to do so CSI work to figure that out. It hurt alot, so when I finally sat down and pulled my pant leg up to see what it looked like, I was surprised to see my leg covered in blood.
It hurt alot! Right down to the bone. The Dr. and the Dr.'s assistant said that it was a "hole" and a "gash". So the Dr. put in two stitches.
